Well while everyone is fighting YouTube over royalty payments for their low end payouts CitySide Records and CitySide Music Ministries are enjoying the increase in their music catalog being utilized on Spotify. Doubling their song useage plays from last year.

Last year only a certain percentage of the ministry's music catalog was being used (Listens and Sync Licensing) but as they increased the number of songs in their catalog while utilizing playlist on Spotify the useage of their songs increased close to double. The CEO told us that the goal is for all of their songs old and new to be listened to and used and that they are currently working very hard to reach that goal.

Beginning in January CitySide Records rolled out a campaign to start having listeners come and enjoy strategically made playlist, Which this was for the new beginning of a new quarter or lets say the first of 2016. Just this past week the team rolled out News Playlist Headlines for the top news stories to be read while listening to music from their catalog, along with making things seem more entertaining to the readers.

king Stevian who also announced to us this week that they had just began restructuring their ministry to a governing and administration body to assist church bodies internationally. He says this is part of the change in an upwatds direction and reaching souls for them to be won over has always been a way of the wise in God.

Well the Primary Results for 2016 are in thus far dor what we can get but the results have went a step further. To play into the hype CitySide Records have launched a playlist that will have many scratching their heads. But we're here to shed light on it for them to the public.

With much news there is just talk and action but no action with music so this is where CitySide Records come in to play to bring the spiritual to the forefront. Many who vote might not bring God into the equation but if they knew that God already knows who is going to win they woulf be on God's side to get the redults as prophets do especially when it comes to the end.

As a person of God and Jesus God can show you the things that are written about the candidate so you can line it up with His word in your bible today instead of saying oh I want a business man or a woman for president. Don't you know this is being carnal minded. We should all seek God and be in spirit so you will get the things to know who and why the candidate chosen to be will be the President of this forsaken country.

Seems like the Newlywed ...lol king Stevian goes into investing right after being married. Not wasting anytime at all with his wife in ministry to sink their teeth into the industry he has been in over 26 years.

The ministry he runs with his wife now has invested in a company that not too long ago has gone public called Ovation Music & Studios which is a company in Boca Raton which well....... is between Delray Beach and Deerfield Beach down in Florida. It seems to be clear why his ministry is investing in the stock of this company because again...they just went public and also has opened another location. It's not known if its a corporate location or if it's a franchise location since they are open to sell franchises now and we do not know if his team will be launching a location. But we can say the new location is in Nashville which is a city of music makers and where many go besides Hollywood to pursue their music or movie dreams. From what the king stated this company has nowhere to go but up and being part of a growing company excites him.

the company has numerous things in the music industry to deal with like Equipment Rental like it's competition Guitar Center but OVS is unlike the competition which it dominates. OVS rental is great because while renting the equipment you can prepare for the Rock Shop where once youre ready you can team up with other players on your level during 8 weeks to prepare for a show in front of an audience. If practicing alone isn't your cup of tea then this place has music lessons on site to prepare you for any level, now Guitar Center ain't doing that. :-(

Besides Ovation Music & Studios having Equipment Rentals and Rehearsal Rooms , they offer equipment for bands rather it's Elementary, Middle, High School or College .... it's there so I can again see why this company is here to stay. It's almost like they are close to being a full training facility where you can prepare for a major concert or even for an album you and your crew is in preparation to do. So as we say in ending only because we almost past it...... that they do Graphic Design..of course every Rock Band or Gospel Group or Singer even Rapper needs graphics for their album cover, band logo or designs for their upcoming show so YESSSS This is the place for any band and king Stevian said he endorses this type of music education and assistance. For those who are wondering who king Stevian is well about 4 years ago he changed his name from Minister Stevie Tee to king Stevian to reflect on his new life in Christ. The king has gotten many Platinum & Gold plaques in America & Kenya for numerous songs and Music Publisher Awards, his current hit songs as D.J. Stevie Tee is Five Nights At Freddy's and FNAF Lego Animatronics and he has plans on releasing a Spanish Instrumental EP next month. From what's known he has plans to visit both the Boca Raton & Nashville locations to see how they operate so he could see how he could be a help to this awesome growing company.

Well after seeing a bunch of albums pull the Beyonce move with their albums being secretly lossed to the public seems like the majpor Gospel label CitySide Records has done the same. But not just with one album which is Brother B new one "Come Early Leave Late" but king Stev ian the head of the CitySide label with his classical album "Classical Music".

Now after having 2 albums released back to back seems like the label is building up for their time of going public which supposed to been this year like in the TV Show Empire but not. It is told by a direct source that Brother B aka Anthony Garland left the label because he said he wasn't feeling it any longer but left over 20 to 30 songs behind which 19 of them have been released this week.

king Stevian told us that one monkey don't stop any show at all and that between him and Krystal Klear not being present they both are still under contract and like that of Dr. Dre when he left Ruthless Records..., anything they do comes back to CitySide regardless who they might work with in any form and that their ready to recoup their $6 million from them in any court battle which he says he don't want it to go that far.

Anyways the label says the label promised 300 more songs and they are keeping their word to their following as they build their catalog to a whopping 1300 songs.

The label just reached 1 million streams with 960 users on YouTube for their song Five Nights At Freddy's and seeks to further their partnerships for their entire catalog which includes the 2 albums just released. As Payola makes it's way into streaming on Spotify and Rdio CitySide says they have many alteratives to avoid paying any digital D.J. making pitches to play songs from their catalog.

Well we see there is one indie major finding ways in this low paying streaming music market but we wonder what is next for the market since vinyl has made a major comeback. Are we going backwards and is history about to repeat itself...Well lets watch all digital music new in the record industry and find out.

It's been a while since we heard king Stevian do a 3 verse song and many notice he only do such songs when his emotions are in them like the song "Mortal Man" he recorded for his artist Krystal Klear Da Rapper who he had a short relationship with.

The label just reached as a label together Platinum status in Kenya and focuses on bringing the song Lord #BringBackOurGirls to the same 5 times (5 X's) so that the campaign gets stronger with faith filled people. The song speak much to the Nigerians that they should accept Christ and get close to God in a time like this.
